Chinatown

Yesterday my daughter and I met up with my mother and spent the afternoon in the International District (Chinatown). It was kind of a dark day, so I tried using and ISO setting of 400 so I didn't have to use too long of a shutter speed.

I took some pictures in the bus tunnel, and was talked to by a security guard. He just gave me a friendly reminder not to use my flash...which I wasn't. Seems like security levels are a bit higher this week. Cool tunnel.

Makes me miss being out and about. I used to take photos of the bridge here all the time, but after 9/11 seems like any time someone is police are called and they question the people. Makes me sad how certain freedoms were lost. Still snowy here and will be cold for the week to come but no more snow I think.

Ahh, so many favorites here :) Good ol' Joe's-and the Union Market--and Ground Zero (2nd Ave. Ext. S) where you surely encountered some of the guys I work with *lol* Nice shots!

And I am wondering why there is a prohibition on the flash. My first thought was either "muzzle flash" or something that could distract a driver. I will ask my regular bus driver to see if he knows.
