I skipped walking over the Ballard Bridge last night, but I did it twice today. Here are some shots from the bridge.

This place is called "Lake Freelard". It's only half full right now, but sometimes this space fills completely up.

I did a shot similar to this one last December.

Let me find it...

Also, since I'm filling up your friends page with pictures, a shot from the thrift store for [livejournal.com profile] blue_aardvark:

Dont' fall! ( Lions don't like heights, https://youtu.be/YfkzDV29WCY )

That is a fine looking cup! I really should buy some lion stickers and start sticking them on everything.

A couple mouths ago I came across a drawing of a lion drawn by what had to have been a child. All mouth and teeth and mane. I should have bought it--it captured the essence of lion. As a rule, children drawn better lions than adults.

Taking photos of the same place in different times captures very well the ever changing nature of life.

Wow, it has been a while since I got up to Ballard (pitfalls of living in S. King) and I'm surprised to see "Lake Freelard" is still the same. I would have thought someone would have put up a building there by now.

I've seen a few series taken in Pripyat. I would give just about anything to go there to explore.

I've been exploring the abandoned streets near Seatac. Nothing like Pripyat--all of the structures and foundations were moved/razed--but the streets are semi-overgrown and every now and then I find a treasure, like an old greenhouse :) I usually post those to the abandonedplaces community :)
